Delta Mu Delta and Colorado Tech University are pleased to offer the following opportunity to its members.

This seminar: Estate and life planning can seem intimidating. With numerous options and so much information available, you may not know where to begin. Postponing your legal life planning can cause a loss of opportunities to protect your property. Begin now to minimize problems for your beneficiaries and to create a smooth transition of your assets to the people or charities who you want to receive them.

Jim is a practicing attorney-at-law and represents businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals. He helps clients improve business performance and productivity, and aids clients with employment issues and business litigation. As a Certified Claims Professional in workers compensation, Jim assists small businesses with workers compensation matters.

When it comes to estate planning, Jim works with individuals to create life estate plans. These plans protect property, minimize problems for beneficiaries, and create a smooth transition of assets to heirs and charities.

In addition to practicing law, Jim has been a professor at Colorado Technical University for nearly twenty years. During this time, he has written collegiate textbooks, whitepapers, and other legal and academic materials. He has also helped develop business and legal courses as the subject matter expert.

Jim lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife and six children. He is the head baseball coach at Cincinnati Christian School and coaches two of his sons’ summer baseball teams, including a 15u team ranked #1 in Ohio and #29 in the country in 2023.
