Instructions for the Chapter that is CURRENTLY in an induction cycle

1. Send an EMAIL to all the currently invited students communicating that they may still join Delta Mu Delta
   1. Within this email please communicate the following:
      1. the payment of the membership dues will be accepted by using a money order or a check.
      2. The payment of the membership dues is to be mailed to the chapter and provide the chapters address or an address more convenient for you.
      3. Provide the deadline of when the payment is to be received by you. DO NOT allow members to send payments directly to Delta Mu Delta Central Office.
         Their membership cannot be processed, and the check will be returned to them.
   2. A few days after your deadline submit your order to Delta Mu Delta via email as you normally would using the Delta Mu Delta order form and spreadsheet found here https://deltamudelta.org/faculty-adviser/forms/
      1. Remember to include all members that have accepted the invitation
2. Membership orders will be shipped to the location of your choice, typically the school’s campus or your residence (wherever there will be someone around to receive it).
3. Plan your induction ceremony
   1. You may choose to hold the induction ceremony at a time that is safe and convenient for you and your members at the location you had already planned prior to COVID-19 or
   2. You may also choose to hold an online induction ceremony using online tools like Zoom or Skype.
      1. The distribution of the membership kits and any other regalia ordered would then be done at a date and time that is most convenient for you. We recommend setting aside at least 2 full days for the member to come to your office to receive the package.
         1. In the event the package was not received by the member it is up to the Faculty Adviser and member to make shipping arrangements. The shipping charges would need to be paid for by the member, unless the chapter chooses to waive the fee and handle it on their end.
