2019-2020 Star Chapter Award Program Cancelled

RE: 2019-2020 Delta Mu Delta Star Chapter Award Program

COVID-19 has impacted all our lives in some way or another and Delta Mu Delta has taken great strides in helping our chapters and members adjust to our current world’s situation. Our greatest concern is that our faculty advisers, members and chapters remain in a safe and healthy environment during this trying time in our lives. It is for that reason that we have decided to cancel the 2019-2020 Star Chapter Award program.  We recognize that many of our chapters may not have been able to complete all the requirements necessary in order to qualify for this achievement and believe that placing the program on “hold” will allow all our valued chapters an opportunity to focus on what matters most.

 

We will resume the program during the 2020-2021 academic year.

NOTE: This does not mean that you are exempt from filing your annual chapter reports, they are still a requirement and are due to Delta Mu Delta by September 30, 2020. Please feel free to submit your reports at any time, ensuring that all your activity for the 2019-2020 year is completed.

Q: What is Delta Mu Delta’s Star Chapter Award Program?

A: Delta Mu Delta’s Star Chapter Award program provides recognition to all chapters that meet or exceed Society standards for chapter operation and administration, in order to qualify you must not only have met all the requirements as set by the society, but have submitted your annual chapter reports by July 15, 2020.

Just a reminder that the DMD Central Office is open, remotely, during the hours of 8:00-4:30pm (CDT) and is available to answer questions and process memberships.
