Community Service Involvement for St. Mary’s Food Bank

Delta Mu Delta Lambda Sigma Phoenix Chapter participated in a community service event for St. Mary’s Food Bank on March 21, 2015. We had 23 members, family, and friends participate in packaging 780 emergency food boxes containing 19 different well-balanced nutritional items for local deserving families in need. This was a great team building experience as we worked on an assembly line with roughly 60 people in other groups requiring every person to do his or her part for the entire process to function effectively. The volunteer effort of the chapter members reflects the commitment and spirit of giving back to the community in keeping with the highest standards of Delta Mu Delta.
